Robert Scoble: “Is the internet about sharing? I think it’s about porn…”

Yeah, it was fun interviewing Robert Scoble. It’s a video I made at The Next Web Conference in Amsterdam. I won an entrance ticket at a startup contest by coming up with the idea to integrate Twitter into live video, this is the first implementation of the idea. See my explanation at Chris Pirillo (thanks, Chris!) about the technical details in English. One more thing to add: I’m using the IRC 2.0 style for Adium messages. Oh, and there’s a YouTube link to the Scoble interview as well.
The rest of my blog is in Dutch. However, I just created an English category for future blogposts that may be interesting to an international audience. In particular, I will announce and publish live interactive videos in English. You may consider subscribing to the RSS feed of my English category. I will now continue the original blog article in Dutch; the Vimeo video can be found below.
Oftewel, een leuk interview met Robert Scoble, door mij geproduceerd, afgenomen door Mark de Kock; ik neem de camera en lezersvragen voor mijn rekening. Het is mijn de eerste echt serieuze twittercasting-uitzending: interactieve live-webvideo met gebruik van mijn camera aangesloten op mijn laptop met mobiel internet, Ustream.tv en last-but-not-least Twitter-berichten van kijkers die real-time in beeld verschijnen (zie hier uitleg over de door mij bedachte techniek achter dit onderdeel). Ga ik vaker doen. Verder gaat het over ondernemerschap, RSS, de digitale kloof, OpenID, enzovoort – kijken maar!

take the next step and embed without flash (use qt) so we can watch and interact from the iPhone. Tx
@hawks4999: great idea (I’m an iPhone user myself – I’m hoping to implement live video on the iPhone someday), here’s the link to the YouTube video, which should prompt your iPhone to open the YouTube app and play the vid.

Thanks jaap. Emerging technology, still. Pioneering a new space means clearing out the hurdles. Such as:
“this video does not currently support iPhone.”
No sweat. I’ll check it out when back on 20th century technology (ie a laptop).
pff… and I actually uploaded it as an mp4 with h.264 codec…
